Our location, Bari Sardo

Bari Sardo, a charming tourist town of Ogliastra, is nestled among the hills of Pranu on the west, the basalt plateau Teccu, and the one of Su Crastu on the east. The country, which has about 4000 inhabitants, boasts 9 km of sandy coastline (Torre di Bari, Foxi, Tramalitza) and granitic and basaltic rock (Punta su Mastixi and Punta Niedda).

Among the sites to be visited, we nsuggest the numerous archaeological ruins of Teccu Plateu, including nuraghes and domus de Janas, the Parrocchiale della Beata Vergine del Monserrato and the Torre Spagnola that stands majestically in the bay with the same name. Throughout the year there are many events, fairs and festivals that enliven the days and evenings of Bari Sardo. The ancient gastronomic traditions and traditional crafts are still celebrated by the inhabitants.
